Asia Awards judging reaches its final stages

The final round for the judging process for the 22nd Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) took place on 4 September with 15 of the 30 judges convening in Singapore. They met the finalists for 12 of the 15 categories face-to-face for the final round of judging, before selecting the winners in a secret ballot.
 


Asia: Insurers in the region find it more difficult to implement IFRS17

Most insurers in Asia (93%) are confident or very confident about complying with IFRS17 by the effective date of 1 January 2021. This compared with 96% in Europe, 68% in Canada and the US, said Deloitte.
