Myanmar: Government taps Indian reinsurer for insurance law revision

Myanmar Regulation Reinsurance
Myanmar authorities are working with India’s only state-run reinsurer to revise insurance and reinsurance laws.
An MoU on such cooperation was signed on 6 June between Myanma Insurance and India’s state-run GIC Re. In accordance with the agreement signed by the two sides, GIC Re will provide assistance to the Myanmar authorities.
