Just over a month remains before the Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA)'s 2018 conference in Tokyo.
The conference, to take place on 30 October, will discuss topics tailored to risk managers in the Japan market, focusing on digital transformation, cyber risk, business interruption, Nat CAT, geopolitical and regulatory risk, human capital risk and international programmes, amid others.
Delegates will hear from keynote speaker Mr Takayuki Ueda, CEO of INPEX Corporation, Japan’s largest upstream exploration and production company, who will share INPEX’s story and how it overcomes risks and uncertainties. A C-suite panel comprising executives from Aon, Tokio Marine and Lloyd’s Japan will offer their view of the market and how Japan is evolving.
SOMPO Holdings managing executive officer Group CDO Koichi Narasaki will address digital transformation, while High Priest of Todai-ji Temple Kojo Morimoto will share tips on sustainability and culture from the experience of the 1,300 year old entity. The conference will close with Toyota Tsusho Corporation’s Takehisa Banno and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ Satoshi Hoshi.
