South Korea to subsidise pet insurance for adopted strays

The Seoul metropolitan government has announced the first step of its five-year plan to reduce the number of stray animals in the city, by subsidising the insurance premiums for stray dogs adopted from shelters. This subsidy will be regardless of the adopted pet's age, breed or medical history.
