A new online database has been launched to provide comprehensive information on climate risk insurance. Said to be the first of its kind, it is commissioned by the German government and is a joint initiative of the Global Index Insurance Facility (GIIF), the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (German Corporation for International Cooperation).
