Thirty four companies engaged in Internet insurance, excluding ZhongAn Insurance, have received private funding of more than CNY1 billion (CNY154 million), according to the "2017 China Internet Insurance Industry Research Report" produced by Warp Speed Capital. The number was five short of the 39 which raised funds in 2016.
