Chinese insurance sector remains well capitalised relative to risks taken - Moody's

The average comprehensive solvency ratios of Chinese life insurers, property and casualty (P&C) insurers and reinsurers remained above 200% compared with the regulatory minimum of 100% at the end of 2017, indicating that the insurance sector continues to be well capitalised relative to risks taken, notes Moody's Investors Service.
