Motor insurance sector imposes upper limits on handling fees

Since 8 August, all motor insurers in China have fallen in line with caps on auto insurance handling fees that are imposed by the insurance industry itself. The introduction of the ceiling is to eliminate vicious competition and to reduce the auto insurance business expense ratio, which is crucial for continuing to promote motor insurance pricing reform.
