Several regulators in Southeast Asia signalled their intention to work on a bilateral basis to integrate their insurance markets as part of the vision of an ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), while also assisting the less developed member states to get on board when ready. This was one of the key messages from the regulatory debate on the second day of the 14th CEO Insurance Summit in Asia yesterday.
