Algeria:Insurance sector has encouraging, bullish outlook

The insurance sector in Algeria has had an encouraging start to the year, achieving strong premium growth for the first quarter 2014. Turnover in the sector increased by 7.2% to US$33.7 billion from January to March, according to data from the National Council of Insurance.
