Korean Re, currently ranked the world's 9th largest reinsurer, has been accredited with 'A' ratings (stable) by Standard & Poor's (S&P) following its strengthened capitalisation. The upgrade comes after a wait of eight years when the reinsurer received an 'A-' rating.
