China, currently the fastest growing insurance market in the region, will remain the biggest contributor to the industry's growth, with an estimated growth of 14.9% for 2015-2016 on the non-life insurance side, even as the country recorded in 2014 its lowest GDP increase in 24 years, said Mr Clarence Wong, Chief Economist Asia at Swiss Re.
