Middle East:Lower ship losses in 2014 in Arabian Gulf

The Arabian Gulf and its approaches accounted for less than 5% of 2014's total losses of 75 ships with three ships lost last year in the region, down from seven in 2013, according to Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE's (AGCS) third annual Safety and Shipping Review 2015, which analyzes reported shipping losses of over 100 gross tons.
