Dr Suthiphon Thaveechaiyagarn has been appointed as Secretary-General, Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), by Board of Directors of Thailand's OIC. The Board is slated to propose him as the new OIC Sec-Gen to the Minister of Finance, who will in turn submit the proposal to the Cabinet for approval. Dr Thaveechaiyagarn is to succeed Mr Pravej Ongartsittigul, whose term will finish at the end of October.
