Australia:Call to cut duplication in medical insurance services

Despite half of all Australians having private health insurance, when they go to hospital, most simply do not use it because, in many cases, the same services were provided by Medicare, a publicly funded universal healthcare scheme, according to Murdoch University Health Policy head, Professor Francesco Paolucci.
