The world enters a new era of political risk under the shadow of a Trump presidency, Brexit and a more assertive China, with the instability of 2016 merely foreshadowing things to come rather than an exception, said global risk consultancy Verisk Maplecroft in its recent report, the Political Risk Outlook 2017.
