MSIG Risk Management Challenge 2017
8 February (case release) – 11 March (grand finals), Singapore
The MSIG Insurance Risk Management Challenge 2017 (RMC) is a risk-related business case competition organised by the Risk Management Society at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (NTU-RMS) for all undergraduates in Singapore. Participants not only gain experience solving a real-life case about insurance risk but will also have the opportunity to attend coaching sessions conducted by sponsors including Bank of America Merrill Lynch and MSIG Insurance. Prizes include S$3,000 (US$2,100) for the champion and internship opportunities in MSIG. 
 

17th Asia CEO Insurance Summit

Insurance Information & Ratemaking Forum of Asia 2017 (IIRFA 2017)

This is an annual conclave established by Asian ratemaking and/or statistical organisations (RSOs) which serves as a unique platform for participants to exchange information and knowledge on topics such as insurance ratemaking and statistics, fraud detection systems, and methods of coping with challenges faced in changing environments. IIRFA’s objectives are to advance the sound development of the insurance business in Asia and to protect the interests of policyholders through the exchange of information and knowledge on the practical matters related to operations of RSOs.
 

5th Asia Motor Insurance & Claims Management Conference
Theme: “The Future of Motor Insurance in Asia”

The motor market is changing, with ambitious plans to roll out autonomous cars on the streets across the world. 3rd Asia Conference on Risk-Based Capital

RIMS 2017 Annual Conference
Theme: “Risk Revolution”
23-26 April, Philadelphia, USA
RIMS, the risk management society, has opened registration for the RIMS 2017 Annual Conference & Exhibition, a premier risk management and insurance industry four-day event. Launched in 1963, the event is expected to feature more than 160 educational sessions, 400 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 10,000 professionals. The new additions to this year’s programme include an Executive Leadership Track and a “Technology and Risk” education category focused on tech innovations.
 

2nd Asia Cyber Risk Summit 
24-25 April, Singapore
Cyber attacks are being reported almost every week affecting businesses ranging from multinational organisations to SMEs and government. The message is clear: no one is spared.
