Singapore Fintech Festival

Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore and in collaboration with SingEx Holdings, this second edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival will provide a platform for collaborations, connections and co-creations within the FinTech ecosystem in Singapore and beyond. The week-long Festival comprises a series of back-to-back events including the Global FinTech Hackcelerator, FinTech Awards, FinTech Conference, Innovation Lab Crawl and Investor Summit. It is expected to draw FinTech players, policy makers, financial industry leaders, private equity/venture capitalists, investors, technopreneurs, and academics. Greater participation is expected from ASEAN, Africa and Latin America this year.

5th Asia Marine Insurance Conference
Theme: “Finding Anchorage in the Perfect Storm”
20-21 November, Hong Kong
Co-organised with the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers as part of Hong Kong Maritime Week 2017, this two-day conference will address the tempest-tossed marine world. It will feature sessions addressing the maritime opportunities and risks for Asia from China’s bold Belt and Road project, cyber risks in marine and salvage and wreck removal. The conference is for all cargo, hull and P&I stakeholders.
5th Asia Investment Management Summit for Insurance
Theme: “Insuring an Auspicious Start to the Winning Side of 2018”

With its keynote speaker Dr Moses Cheng, Chairman of Insurance Authority of Hong Kong, the conference will offer insurance investment managers a head start in understanding the likely investment climate in 2018. On the agenda, there will be briefings on the outlook for the region’s interest rates, equities, fixed income, latest regulatory breakthroughs as well as alternative investments.
