Australia:Reforms for automated cars to give insurance clarity

Australia's Transport and Infrastructure Council has agreed to a series of reform initiatives over the next 24 months designed to facilitate increased testing and trialling of more automated and self-driving vehicles. The reform plan has won the support of insurers eager to dispel uncertainty over the applicability of auto insurance to driverless incidents.
