State-backed French reinsurer records stable financial performance

Caisse Centrale de Reassurance (CCR) reported a consolidated premium income of nearly EUR1.4bn and a consolidated net income of EUR132m for the 2018 financial year at its board of directors meeting on 9 April. While CCR contributed EUR147m to the consolidated income, its subsidiary CCR RE contributed EUR35m which was twice of the 2017 figure.
