Since the CBIRC allowed insurance asset managers to create dedicated investment products last October, 10 insurance asset management companies, including China Life Asset Management, had registered their dedicated products as of January 2019, according to CBIRC data. The targeted size of these products totals CNY116bn (US$17.3bn).
