Japan:Local insurers find their way to least-insured economy in Southeast Asia


Myanmar will soon see five Japanese insurers entering its emerging insurance market in partnership with local insurers, reported the Nikkei Asian Review. The Japanese insurers are aiming to offer products like annuities and automobile policies to a comparatively under-insured market. These insurers include Tokio Marine, Nippon Life Insurance, MS&AD Insurance, Sompo and Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance.
