Asia to see higher cancer mortality by 2030

Asia can expect to see a 40% increase in cancer mortality by 2030, with the region registering a high mortality rate compared to North America, Europe and Oceania. This was cited in a new report by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), whose research found a strong association between income level and overall cancer preparedness as measured by the Index of Cancer Preparedness: that is high-income countries outperform upper- and lower-middle income countries.
