Australia:Private health insurers more than double net profit to US$1.4bn for 12 months to 31 Mar

The private health insurance sector reported net profit after tax of A$2.0bn ($1.4bn) for the year to 31 March 2022, more than double the A$952m posted for the 12 months to 31 March 2021, according to data released by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
