UK General Insurance Stress Test reveals weaknesses in Nat CAT modelling-PRA

Following the General Insurance Stress Test (GIST) 2017, the Bank of England's Prudential Regulatory Authority has suggested improvements for the participating firms that impact underwriting, finance and risk functions. One of the weaknesses highlighted was the Nat CAT models used by insurers.
