Insurers post 40% jump in universal life premiums in first 4 months

Chinese insurers reported a revenue of CNY497.6bn ($72bn) from the sale of universal life products from January to April this year, representing a jump of 40% compared to the corresponding period in 2018, according to data from the CBIRC.
