Insurance Australia Group (IAG) has selected AIR Worldwide's new earthquake model for New Zealand to help manage its catastrophe risk in the country. While IAG is regarded as the largest general insurer in Australia and New Zealand, AIR Worldwide is a business of American data analytics and risk assessment firm Verisk. Both parties are said to be have been collaborating for over a decade.
