Faster rate of global warming could cause tens of thousands more deaths in China each year

The increase in surface air temperature in China has been faster than the global rate, and more high temperature spells are expected to occur in future. According to a new research if average increase in global temperatures reaches 2-degree Celsius there may be 27,000 more heat-related deaths in China annually compared with rise of 1.5 degree Celsius.
