Existing rules mean foreign insurers may need 30 years to attain China-wide coverage

Foreign-invested insurance companies in China wish the regulatory authorities would allow them to apply for licences to open new branches at any time and in as many provinces in the country as they believe is necessary, says the Insurance Working Group of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.
