In the first nine months of this year, China's insurance industry realised gross insurance premium income of CNY3,452bn ($490.4bn), a year-on-year increase of 12.6%. The year-on-year growth rate narrowed by 0.4 percentage point from the previous eight months, according to data from the CBIRC.
