The Pacific Insurance Conference (PIC) will be honouring Mr Mark E. Tucker for the contributions he's made to the industry throughout his distinguished career with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He will receive his award during the 29th PIC to be held on 17 to 20 November 2019 in Hong Kong.
Mr Mark E. Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings plc, has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry in Asia, US and UK, including 25 years based in Hong Kong. He assumed his current role as non-executive Group Chairman of HSBC Holding in Oct. 2017.
Prior to that, he was Group Chief Executive and President of AIA Group Limited (AIA). He joined AIA in July 2010 and spearheaded its record-breaking initial public offering in Hong Kong in October 2010. Under Mr. Tucker’s leadership, AIA became the second largest life insurance company in the world.

It is a great honour for the PIC to be able to present him with this Lifetime Achievement Award recognition.”
Mr. Tucker will receive the PIC Lifetime Achievement Award during the PIC Gala Reception and Dinner on 19 November 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The presentation of the award to Mr. Tucker caps off the first two full days of the PIC conference where industry executives from around the globe will gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing of life, health, retirement savings, and wealth management businesses, particularly in the Pacific Rim area.
Mr. Tucker is also the Patron of the Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards organised by Asia Advisers Network and Asia Insurance Review.
