Taiwan:Foreign currency denominated insurance plans lose favour

First-year premiums (FYPs) of foreign currency denominated insurance plans last year declined by 16% to NT$518.85bn ($17.08bn) over 2018, due to lower investment returns and interest rates, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) has said.
