Average global cost of insider threats increased by 31% in last two years

According to the third benchmark study on insider threats '2020 Cost of Insider Threats: Global Report' conducted by Poneman Institute and sponsored by ObserveIT and IBM, the average global cost of insider threats increased from $8.76m in 2018 to $11.45m in 2020, an increase of 31% in two years.
