South Asia:Cyclone Amphan causes estimated economic losses of US$15bn

Cyclone Amphan, which was the strongest storm in the Bay of Bengal since 1999, caused estimated economic losses of $15bn, according to Aon's monthly Global Catastrophe Recap report, which evaluates the impact of the natural disaster events that occurred worldwide during May 2020.
