Online P&C insurance business saw growth of 27% to reach CNY47.2bn ($7.3bn) in premium income in the first half of this year, compared to the corresponding half-year in 2020, according to the Insurance Association of China (IAC). In comparison, premium income of the overall P&C insurance sector in China grew at 1.75% in the first six months of this year.
