Business weakens in September for 5 major A-share listed insurers

Affected by a slowdown in life insurance business and the year-old comprehensive reform of auto insurance, the five major A-share listed insurance companies posted negative growth in premiums in aggregate in the first three quarters of this year. Aggregate premium income dipped by 0.97% year-on-year to CNY2.035tn ($318bn).
