Water risk could cost China GDP loss of over US$1.1tn in 2022-2050 period

Global warming and the related droughts, floods, and storms could result in a total loss of $1,144bn to the gross domestic product (GDP) of China between 2022 and 2050, according to the findings of a report by global professional services company GHD.
