Beijing-headquartered New China Insurance (NCI), one of the largest life insurance companies in China, has posted net profit attributable to shareholders of CNY9.82bn ($1.43bn) in 2022, a 34% drop or CNY5.13bn slump from CNY14.95bn in 2021.
