Actuarial science professor is 2015 John S. Bickley Founder's Award recipient

The International Insurance Society (IIS) has announced Dr Dan Anderson as the 2015 recipient of the prestigious John S. Bickley Founder’s Award.
Dr Anderson is Emeritus Professor, Department of Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance Professor, Institute for Environment Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will be honoured at the 15 June awards ceremony and gala dinner in conjunction with the IIS 51st Annual Seminar at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, 14-17 June 2015.
The John S. Bickley Founder’s Award Gold Medal for Excellence recipient is elected by secret ballot by the IIS Honors Committee, a body of senior insurance executives and leading academicians, and honours individuals who have made a significant, lasting and recognised contribution to insurance thought, product, practice or education.
