Singapore: Winning research to be presented at prestigious Global Insurance Forum in June

The Geneva Association and the International Insurance Society (IIS) have announced the winners of their collaborative insurance research programme, the Shin Research Excellence Awards, who will present their research during the IIS Global Insurance Forum, to be held in Singapore on 12-15 June and expected to be attended by 500+ senior insurance leaders from around the globe.
The winners of the Awards, which is endowed by Kyobo Life Insurance of South Korea, are Dr Pamela R Hurley, Associate Professor of Insurance and Risk Management, University of Houston, and Dr Nihar Jangle, Director Climate Change Programme, Micro Insurance Academy in New Delhi.
The programme was established to promote practically oriented, applied research in the field of insurance and risk management, addressing topics which directly influence business operations.
The IIS’s signature annual event, the Global Insurance Forum, is considered the premier industry conference, of which Asia Insurance Review is a media partner.
