News - South Korea: Retirees face pension gap

Most Koreans are not ready for life after retirement because they have inadequate financial assets, according to a joint study by Fidelity Investment Managers and Seoul National University’s Research Institute of Human Ecology. According to the study, financial assets that a household in Korea needs after retirement are estimated at KRW850 million (US$752,000).
