Japan:Gov't to support firms that spread out data centres to mitigate quake risk

The government will support companies that set up data centres outside of Tokyo to mitigate the risk of widespread business disruptions should a massive earthquake strike, reports Nikkei. The Communications Ministry will help reduce corporate tax bills of firms that set up data centres in other regions to back up information.
