Taiwan:Drivers, guilty of DUI, to pay auto insurance surcharge

With effect from 1 March, drivers in Taiwan will have to pay punitive surcharges on their compulsory auto insurance if they are cited by the traffic police for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, in addition to facing the legal consequences of such a violation.
