India:Foreign reinsurers need to have minimum capital of US$15.3 mln -IRDAI

The Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has set a minimum capital requirement of INR1 billion (US$15.3 million) for foreign reinsurers to set up a branch in the country.
