Labuan Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced Mr Iskandar Mohd Nuli's early retirement from his position of deputy director general of the Labuan FSA.
In line with his retirement, Mr Iskandar will also step down as a member of Board of Directors of Labuan FSA Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Labuan FSA.
Mr Iskandar was instrumental in the establishment of the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC), and in shaping its direction during its formative years. His breadth of experience – spanning legal affairs, business development and regulatory policy, has been invaluable in guiding Labuan IBFC’s evolution into a respected and competitive global financial centre.
The Board of Authority of Labuan FSA extends its appreciation and gratitude to Mr Iskandar for his leadership and extensive contributions over a career of more than 25 years, which laid the foundation for Labuan IBFC’s continued growth and progress.
The Board and Management also thank Mr Iskandar for his dedicated services and extend their best wishes to him in his future endeavours.
