Global specialty (re)insurance broker Consilium has expanded its Cedant Facultative Risk Solutions team and opened a new office in Singapore, subject to regulatory approval.
The office in Singapore office will serve as a gateway for Consilium to broaden its reach across Asia Pacific, delivering specialist reinsurance solutions to cedants with agility and expertise. It will initially be focussed on property, power and energy facultative reinsurance classes.
The expansion also includes the appointment of Mr Rob Drysdale as CEO of Consilium Cedant Fac Asia. In his new role, he will lead the development of the Singapore office.
Mr Drysdale brings nearly 20 years of expertise across APAC. Prior to his new role, he worked with Howden Specialty and WTW. He will join following his notice period from Descartes.
