With the release of second-quarter solvency reports, the half-year results of nine bank-affiliated insurers have come to light. Together, they generated CNY0.301tn($41.5bn) in premium income and CNY8.595bn($11.9bn) in net profit in the first six months, up 12.4% and 1.2% year on year.
