The Global Insurance Excellence Awards-Asia and MENA's premier recognition platform for insurance agents, advisors, and brokers-concluded earlier this evening, celebrating 8 winners recognised for their outstanding contributions and performance.
The GIEA 2025 gala evening, held in Goa, India, brought together leading general insurance agents and advisers from across the region to recognise their achievements and contributions to the industry.
The winners were chosen from 24 finalists shortlisted from over 105 nominations from 10 markets and 18 different companies across Asia and the MENA region.
A distinguished judging panel, made up of 9 CEOs, senior executives, heads of associations and industry experts, participated in a rigorous and transparent two-stage judging process with KPMG as scrutineer.
As part of a two-stage process, judges were required to read the nominations, culminating in a meeting of minds where judges gathered to deliberate to pick the winners through a secret ballot via a virtual meeting on 21 August.
According to Dr. Tapan Singhel, MD & CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance - “The Global Insurance Excellence Awards (GIEA) reinforced the power and purpose of our profession. It was an evening that not only celebrated world-class speakers and inspiring finalists, but also recognised the advisors, agents and brokers who stand by families, businesses and communities in their most difficult moments. By honouring their contribution across India, Asia and the MENA region, GIEA reaffirms the significant role of distribution in shaping the future of our industry. As we look ahead to the vision of Insurance for All by 2047, it is their dedication, commitment, and care that will ensure protection reaches every citizen and enterprise".
Sheela Suppiah, CEO, Asia Insurance Review & Middle East Insurance Review said, “The Global Insurance Excellence Awards (GIEA) culminated in a spectacular night of celebration, saluting the achievements and pride of general insurance agents, advisers and brokers - the soldiers of the industry who work tirelessly behind the scenes, as a critical component in the insurance value chain. Both finalists and winners alike were acknowledged after a very stringent audited judging process, scrutinised by a high-level panel of judges. These are the first insurance awards that straddle both regions of Asia and MENA.
