MA Amlin has appointed three new reinsurance underwriters as it continues to expand its APAC platform:
- Mr Amirul Ashraf as underwriter, effective 5 January 2026
- Mr Darren Toh as senior underwriter
- Mr Yosuke Yasuda as senior underwriter, effective 13 October
Mr Amirul’s technical expertise and strong market reputation make him a valuable addition to the team. He joins from Malaysian Re.
Mr Toh brings close to a decade of experience, with deep expertise in reinsurance underwriting, including insurance-linked securities (ILS) and binders. He will support the continued development of the reinsurance property CAT portfolio.
Prior to his new role, Mr Yasuda was head of casualty for Asia and China at Aon. He also spent 17 years at Swiss Re.
