Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Mr Alex Benson as Head of Construction and Natural Resources Claims, in Asia, effective 6 April 2026.
In his new role, Mr Benson will focus on providing technical claims advice, advocacy and resolution services to Willis’ clients, in partnership with the company’s regional claims team across Asia, and with other claims specialists globally.
Additionally, he will engage with the (re)insurance markets to ensure uniform, optimal claims service is provided to Willis’ clients in the region.
Mr Benson has held several senior level positions at global loss adjusting firms. He began his career in the UK and has spent the past 10 years in Asia, building a strong reputation with clients, (re)insurers and other industry participants.
He is a Chartered Loss Adjuster (CILA) and is a certified member of FUEDI, the European Federation of Loss Adjusting Experts.
